Shaza Fatima Khawaja MNA She is currently a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Pakistan Muslim League (N). In this capacity she is also the elected General Secretary of the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) which constitutes 80 members of the parliament who are under the age of 40. YPF is cross-party forum concerned with various issues facing the nation at large and youth in particular. She is also the convener of Pakistan-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group where her responsibility involves fostering friendly relations with the parliament of Azerbaijan through regular meeting with ambassadors, briefings on foreign policies and exchange programs. The purpose is to promote Pakistan as a meaningful member of international community which in turn helps build Pakistan's economic and social ties with respective countries. She is also the Chairperson for Prime Minister's National Skills Development Program which aims to provide technical and vocational certifications through six months training to 50,000 youth per year. On the academic side, she is currently a faculty member at the Humanities and Social Science Department at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) where she teaches courses on politics and international relations. She completed her undergraduate degree in Economics and Politics from LUMS and a Master's degree in International Relations from University of Warwick, UK. |

Romina Khurshid Alam MNA Romina Khurshid Alam is a passionate activist and a visionary politician who without a political background, fought all odds and earned her way to where she stands today. She has been teaching in two of the well reputed institutes of Islamabad. Being a qualified beautician and grooming specialist, she also took the initiative of “We”, a house for clothing, saloon and interior design which was not only a result of her entrepreneurial spirit but also, her dedication to the women of Pakistan as her start up helped train and empower many of under privileged women. This led her way to being an honorary ambassador of Bait ul Maal’s Women Vocational Training Centre. Her political journey includes serving as a General Secretary Youth Women Wing of PMLN. Later, her services to the country got her elected as an MNA. She is also serving as Chief Coordinator Prime Minister Youth Program; Laptop Scheme and Fee Reimbursement Program. Currently, Romina is a member of many organisations like Federal Think Tank of Climate Change, Nursing Council; National Institute of Health& Women Caucus. She is also working closely with Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI). |
