Islamabad: 23rd November 2022; MNA Syed Ali Musa Gillani President of Young Parliamentary Forum (YPF) said, “keeping in context the substantial young population, YPF has become an effective tool to further the cause of strengthening democratic norms in the country.” He also said that YPF has become a platform where young Parliamentarians can legislate especially for youth and it can be an effective tool to strengthen democratic institutions.

Election To Elect Officer Bearers Of YPF Board Held In Parliament House Today; NA Speaker & Deputy Speaker Felicitate Newly Elected Office Bears Of YPF Board

Islamabad: 23rd December 2021:  Election of Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) held in the Chamber of Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri in Parliament House today. The election process starts at 11 AM till 05 PM under the supervision of Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri who is also the Patron of the YPF Board. MNA Makhdoom Zain Hussain Qurashi, Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam, Syed Murtaza Mahmud, Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar were elected unopposed as President, Vice President, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer YPF Board respectively.

Elections For The Young Parliamentarians Forum Will Be Held On December 23 In Parliament House

Islamabad, December 6, 2021: Elections of the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) which were to be held on 13th December 2021 will now be held on Thursday, December 23rd December 2021 at the Parliament House in the Chamber of Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri the Patron of the Young Parliamentarians Forum. The election of the Young Parliamentarians Forum has been changed due to the OIC Foreign Ministers' Conference in Pakistan and change in schedule of the National Assembly Session.

Proactive Role Of Youth Is Imperative For Socio-Economic Development Of The Country: Deputy Speaker NA

Islamabad: 2nd April 2021; While witnessing the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) between Young Parliamentary Forum (YPF), Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) and Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO) in the Parliament House today, Qasim Khan Suri Deputy Speaker National Assembly remarked that  the Participation of  Youth  is imperative to resolve the challenges faced by the country. He said that sustainable social development demand active youth participation.

Consultative session on transgender issues held at PIPS

The consultative session for the transgender issue was organised by Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) in collaboration with IP3 at Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS). The meeting was chaired by Honourable member Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, General Secretary YPF. The participants included members from transgender community, officials from FDI and was attended by Chair Of Standing Committee on Human Rights Babar Nawaz.

YPF Visit to FDI Pakistan

The members of YPF including Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja and Ms. Romina K Alam visited the FDI Pakistan to discuss issues faced by the transgender in Pakistan. The YPF agreed to work upon with police and other government departments to respond quickly to help the transgender. Further collaborative meetings and discussions are still underway.
